Today is the last day we were all together at the beach of La Playa Fantastica. On Tuesday, T‘s kids are going to Montreal for the rest of their holiday then T goes back to Madrid on Saturday, the same day that F & S plus kids return to Moscow. Another friend from our Moscow days, C, arrives on Tuesday afternoon to complete this mini-reunion and stays till Sunday. In one more week, the house will be awfully quiet after all the frenzied activity of the last month. It was a great four weeks together – hanging out at the pool, lounging at the beach, catching up on gossip and eating at lots of interesting restaurants.
Four our last seven days, we’ve scheduled a few good meals. We’ll be having lunch at Come i Kalla, a paella restaurant in Guadalmina; dinner at Skina, a modern Andalusian with only eight tables in Marbella’s Casco Antiguo and finally, for our last evening together, we’re going to celebrate at the one-star Michelin El Lago in Elviria. It’ll be a gastronomic finale to our summer holiday.
