After spending a night at the Hilton Gatwick and flying with Virgin Atlantic for ten hours, we finally arrived in Las Vegas. Met my niece, N – what a cutie! Settled in then had dinner at our stand-by favorite around the corner from home- Royal Thai.
J fell asleep in the middle of dinner and I managed to stay up till 10 p.m. then we both woke up at 4:00 a.m. (jetlag!!!) which is why I’m writing this now. Tomorrow (or should I say later today), we’re off to Laguna Beach for a long weekend where we’re celebrating the baby’s christening, taking J to Disneyland and of course, eating at a few fun places while we’re there. We’re back in Vegas on Sunday for the rest of our three week holiday. More later…..
