Fortunately, it’s been a week of pleasant surprises – what with my grandmother’s hip operation going well, our spur-of-the-moment day trip to Cadiz yesterday (more on that later) and now two features in other websites.

In the Culinary School Guide , I’m listed along with ninety-nine others in Top 100 Blogs for Foodies . The website lists everything you need to know about culinary schools. In their October 27 post, they list foodie-related blogs in different categories (e.g. recipes, regional. restaurants and chefs, gadgets and tools, everyday and beginner etc.) and mine is #64 in the Travel and Exotic section along with Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.

The second mention is in The Back Burner, the companion blog to recipe website Key Ingredient. Here, my roast duck noodle soup recipe from a previous post was featured yesterday. Check both these websites out soon.
