Travels with a Gourmet

a food lover's travels, memorable meals, culinary trials and gastronomic experiences

Finally. After a long and rainy winter, spring has arrived. We’ve cleared the plant boxes, swept up the terrace and brought out the furniture. This week will be for replanting my mini potager of basil, mint, sage, rosemary and thyme and adding more flowers to the window boxes. Also time to dust off the Weber, and reread my summer and grill cookbooks to get some new ideas for al fresco meals. And I’m also reading “How to be a Better Foodie” . It’s nice to know that I’m more than halfway there to becoming one.
