Travels with a Gourmet

a food lover's travels, memorable meals, culinary trials and gastronomic experiences

One of our favorite weekend brunch places has finally opened another restaurant in Marbella to replace the one that used to be down the road from where we live. I’ve been thrice already and each time was consistently good. The only difference with the Marbella branch is that it’s open from noon instead of for breakfast at the Puerto Banus location.

Yesterday, our son was off school as it was Dia de Andalucia (Andalucia day) so we had an early lunch as usual, we weren’t disappointed. No starters this time – A had a vegetable wrap with fresh coleslaw, J had a cheese pizza and I had the tandoori prawns. The wrap was filled with aubergine, lettuce and avocado and was really filling. My tandoori prawns were very good (but I wish there were four prawns instead of three). It came with pita, poppadom, mango chutney, lime pickle and yogurt plus some pilaf rice. My son’s pizza crust was extra thin and crispy and topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, slivers of Parmesan and some basil. For dessert, we shared a Baileys cheesecake. Now that there’s another Terra Sana in town we have another excellent option to have a good meal.

  1. I know what you mean about ALL that meat. It’s so similar to Spanish cuisine. The photos are done using the collage function of Picasa.

Food looks fab… Enjoying ourselves in Manila but admittedly quite overwhelmed with abundance of meat in daily fare. Impossible to be a vegetarian here, methinks…Btw, how do you get your pictures in a nice little foursome?
